Jr. on the other hand has been wanting time to go fast. He just wants it to speed up and literally fly by. It's all he's been talking about lately. He just misses Naki soooo much it's making him antsy. I'd love to ease his burden and find the perfect words to make him feel better but I don't have those words. I just hold him and wish time would speed up a little too.
Ray and Leka cant wait for Halloween to come. Those boys love them some candy. They get candy all the time so I wonder what's all the fuss for Halloween. But they are excited to see their cousins tonight and trick er treat together. I know they will have a great time.
Seriously.. it seems as if time is flying by.. I on the other hand from Jr. want time to slow down.. I hope you're feeling better as well as the whole family... Give Jr. a big hug for me and kiss the kiddies!! :) I'm sure that you could totally create some tight costumes..:) Happy Halloween...
ReplyDeleteAww, Mon’ your middle paragraph made me cry. I feel for June. I can sympathies with him in some sense, yet not fully because I haven’t lost a sibling :( After my dad passed away, I was heartbroken he wouldn’t be there for my wedding and to see my kids that were to come. One thing that helped me feel at peace soon after he died was by “living his (my Dad) legacy.” Honestly, knowing that I must live the Gospel in order to be w/ my Dad once again is why I try to do my best and try to teach my kids in “righteous” ways so that they will learn who my Dad is through me & my teachings. You are such a great wife. I know you do all you can to try and ease his burdens :) From experience, time is the essence. Grieving isn’t something that came naturally for me, but something I kind of acquired through the process of time (though it would be much easier for everyone if time could just speed up already and get everyone through this most difficult part of “time”). I sympathies with June!! b/c it’s the times when you’re all alone that your mind is flooded w/ all those great memories you’ve shared, and though they may be great memories our minds and hearts naturally feel sadness…well in my case anyways. Ease came with time for me. Time will pass, and through “time” yours/his burdens will be easier.

That breaks my heart...I hope you guys had a happy halloween. Max still talks about wanting to get together with the boys, I don't think he understood that if he would have come down last time we wouldn't be having a blast somewhere. Anyway...we love you guys and all of you are in our thoughts and prayers!
