28 years old

Well it's official. I'm old. I even felt older when I woke up this morning. Hopefully it's just the cold weather but who knows. Today Jr. had to sing at a missionary farewell in West Vally so we got up extra early to head down there. Since we were down in the Salt Lake area we decided to go to church with my parents in my old family ward. My parents were so happy to see us when we arrived unannounced. Two of my sisters were there also and my oldest brother and his wife. It was awesome to see a lot of the people in my ward that I grew up with. We all went to dinner together and laughed and made fun of each other. Ray and Leka had been making imaginary birthday cakes for me all day long and singing to me. They kept getting the birthday song and we wish you a Merry Christmas mixed up. I loved it. I got sweet voice mail messages, gifts and a ton of text messages. Jr. said to me tonight when we got home (I had two gifts waiting for me on our doorstep) that everyone loves me. I did feel loved today. I am so thankful to have such wonderful people in my life. What else could a girl (or woman now I guess) ask for on her birthday?
Oh yeah and one last thing, our Stake did a realignment of ward boundaries and we are now going to be in Jr.s oldest brother Rex's ward. We're really going to miss all of our good friends we've made in the 3rd ward. But we're excited for this change.
